Asturic-Roman Journeys ’14
In July’s last weekend, Astorga celebrates the Festival of Astures y Romanos. In this festival, are recreated the times when this town was the Roman city of Asturica Augusta. A look to the past, careful and enthusiastic, that has been nationally recognized including it in the “Spanish Association of parties and historical recreations” and being also awarded as a “Regional Touristic Interest” celebration.
From July the 24th to August the 4th, the restaurants from ‘the Borrallo’ association, they all use to organize the Gastronomic Journeys of the Asturic-Roman cooking. Along these journeys, there’re praised the delicacies from these both two civilizations that lived in our city Asturica Augusta.
